If you want to use your Raspberry Pi like a power user, here is what you must do.
Materials:
1. Windows computer with SD slot and microSD adapter
2. At least 4GB microSD card
3. Working WiFi
4. Knowledge of Admin password on Windows PC
5. Raspberry Pi
6. microUSB charger
7. HDMI Monitor
8. USB Keyboard/Mouse or Wireless (USB Receiver)
Steps:
1. Put the SD card in the Pi. Plug USB Keyboard/Mouse or receiver into Pi. Plug the Pi into a monitor and into a wall outlet. When the Pi boots up, click the Start button and open the command prompt. Type in 'sudo raspi-config'.
2. You will see a blue screen with a gray window and a red selector.
Options You CAN Change:

1. Go to 'Overclock your Pi' and choose a preset.
2. Hit 'Ok' and confirm. From there, go to 'Internationalisation.' From there you can change locale settings from UK to US.
3. Hit Finish. Confirm, and your Pi will reboot.
Advanced Options:
1. Go to 'Overclock your Pi' and choose a preset.
2. Hit 'Ok' and confirm. From there, go to 'Internationalisation.' From there you can change locale settings from UK to US.
3. Hit 'Ok' and confirm. Go to 'Advanced Options.' There you will have a few options.
4. The three main things you want to do are SSH, Audio, and Update. Enable SSH. This way, you can remotely enter commands on your Pi without using the Pi itself as long as the Pi is on. Also, set whether you want to funnel audio through the headphone jack or the HDMI port using the Audio menu. Lastly, hit 'Update' to update your Pi's functions to the latest version.
5. Hit Finish. Confirm, and your Pi will reboot.
